About the space
Check out the gallerys below to see the space. Our spacious workspaces were created to accommodate a multitude of craft styles and mediums.
Creative Space
Each of the workstations include a 6-foot table, rolling chair, power strip, cell phone charging station and dedicated table light. The room is equipped with a 70 in TV, Roku (with guest mode log in). The craft space can accommodate up to 6 creation stations
Kitchen & Dining
Kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, Keurig coffee pot, charcuterie board and electric tea kettle. There is also stand up blender and a crockpot for your cooking need. There is also a 2nd full size refrigerator in the entry hallway for back up beverages and refreshments or where your Take and Bake items can be held.
Sleepy
Time
There is a master suite located on the main floor of the house featuring a king bed that comfortably sleeps two guests. There are two twin bedrooms located on the 2nd floor.
Extra plush cots with mattress pads can be set up for a 5th and 6th guest.
Freshen Up
The home features a master bathroom and a main house bathroom, both of which are located on the main floor of the house.
Other space
The home can also be set up as a non-retreat space for gathering. Looking for a place to host out of town guests? This is your spot. The furniture is swapped out to create a comfortable living room space where the main craft area is. The small sitting room becomes a game room or can also be set up as a 4th sleeping space with the cots or deluxe air mattresses (as shown in the gallery below)
Get Outside
The retreat is a completely remodeled early-1800s farmhouse located on the grounds of Rhodes River Ranch. Inspiration for your art is all around!
The home features an outdoor gazebo with a gas firepit and is located on a paved road that is perfect to absorb the views in the peaceful countryside. Experience the tranquility of our own backyard by soaking in the natural beauty around you. Engage in some refreshing yoga on the grass, or find a cozy spot in the covered gazebo with favorite book. Take a walk along the paved road to watch horses graze in the fields or grab your morning espresso at the Oso General Store while taking in the views of White Horse Mountain as you pass over the Stilly River.
The house is also within easy walking distance of the Restaurant at Rhodes River Ranch, located in the big blue arena you pass when heading to the house.
